Camp Information
All School of Excellence and Top Keeper Soccer Academy camps are conducted on the campus of Newman University in Wichita, KS. It is located at:
Due to space availability, limitations in the number of academy attendees allowed in each session have been implemented. We expect to fill each session this year so register early in order to insure your place in camp.
Session I and Session II day campers should arrive Monday, June, 17 at 8:30 for final registration and check-in. All campers must check in at the registration counter in the concession stand at the Newman University game field. Walk-up campers should call Coach Brown in advance to inquire as to whether space is available. Walk-ups cannot be guaranteed a camp T-shirt. Camp begins each day at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 noon. Campers should have filled water bottles and put on shin pads and soccer boots by the 9:00 AM. Parents need to arrive in time to pick up campers at the conclusion of the sessions at 12:00 noon. Camp ends on Wednesday, June, 19.
Session III Goalkeeper Camp: campers should arrive for final registration and check-in on Monday, June, 24 at 8:30 AM at the concession stand at the Newman game field. Campers will provide their own lunch. Camp ends each day at 4:00 PM and runs through Wednesday, June, 26
Session IV Shoot & Save Camp: campers should arrive for final registration and check-in on Wednesday, June, 26 at 8:30 AM. Camp runs through 4:00 PM (Camper will provide their own lunch). This is a one day camp, but it is very demanding.
Supervision
All campers will be supervised for all activities by mature and responsible academy staff members. No camper is allowed to leave campus without explicit agreement between Coach Brown and the parents of the camper in question. Newman University has 24 hour security to handle any unforeseen safety issues.
There is virtually no free time at the School of Excellence academies. This camp focuses exclusively on promoting the improvement of each soccer player. We are interested only in players desiring to seriously raise the level of their game.
Campers should bring their own ball daily to the camp. Every Each camper will receive a School of Excellence or Top Keeper T-Shirt as part of the fee.
Discounts are provided for early registration, for registering for multiple camps, or for mulitple family members. Due to confusion over discount policies over past years, there is a maximum of one discount per camper.
All campers are required to carry appropriate health insurance. They must provide insurance information during the registration process, and a copy of their insurance card as proof of insurance at check-in.
Confirmation is sent automatically to your email address when registering on-line. When registering by mail confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your email address included on the registration form. Please be sure the address listed is correct and legible. All communication is handled through email so it is imperative that you fill out this portion of the form.
